SOKS: Solace of the Kindred Spirits

A Coven of Supporting One Another's Paths

Solace of the Kindred Spirits is a coven in the Chester County area that supports seekers on the Pagan/Witch/Wiccan Path. We are unique in that we embrace all of our members' individual paths - members may be Dianic, Wiccan, Witch, Eclectic, Asatru, or some other iteration that embraces an Earth-based Spirituality.

Our Story

Solace of the Kindred Spirits is a coven in the Chester County area that supports seekers on the Pagan/Witch/Wiccan Path. We formed out of a Wicca 101 course taught by Helena Domenic at Solace Farms in Chestser Springs, PA. Once the course ended, students and teacher realized they valued the friendships and magical bond that had formed between them. We host rituals, celebrations, workshops and classes in the Phoenixville, PA area.

Our coven name symbolizes several things. The word "solace" acknowledges our beginnings at Solace Farms. The word "Kindred" is a word to describe how we feel about one another. "Spirit" is essential to each of us in our lives. The first letter of these words forms an acronym: SOKS. When each letter is spoken aloud, it becomes a Spanish phrase: "Eso que es," which in English translates to "It is what it is." This phrase is not meant to accept unhappy circumstances, but rather to embrace ourselves as we are, wherever we happen to be on our paths. We are who we are.

Head Witch in Charge

Helena Domenic is our "Head Witch in Charge." She is an artist, writer, educator and High Priestess with over 30 years of experience in the Pagan Community. Helena received her Fourth Degree in the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel and continued to serve as a High Priestess until her departure from the Assembly in 2018. She is currently attending Cherry Hill Seminary to receive certification in Spiritual Direction.

Helena is also the author and illustrator of An Illuminated Guide to Wicca, available through Amazon or Schiffer Publishing. She is an artist and maintains her art studio in Phoenixville, where many of our events take place.
